Find Your Bliss With Livvy Dunne

For All-American Gymnast Livvy Dunne, finding bliss lies in simplicity away from the spotlight–leaning on stillness in nature and the comfort of connection with loved ones. We have been delighted to have Livvy be a part of our Vuori family since 2021. As she approaches her final year of college and her career in collegiate gymnastics, we were able to catch up with her and chat about what she is looking forward to most in these final moments at LSU, the Livvy fund legacy she’ll leave behind to help support fellow female athletes, and how she finds moments of bliss in the midst of all the change and big life moments.

Outside of her impressive presence on social media, Livvy is most well known for her accomplishments on the LSU gymnastics team. Her love of gymnastics first began at 3 years old and she has spent 18 years being dedicated to her passion for the sport. Navigating 20 hours of training a week alongside school and work sounds like a lot for your average 21year old to handle, but when we asked Livvy about any pressure she might be feeling she laughed, “It’s a lot of pressure if you make it a lot of pressure, I usually try to have fun with it. If it wasn’t fun I wouldn’t be doing it!”.

In an effort to help open doors for her fellow athletes and the young women that will follow in her footsteps at LSU, Livvy also worked hard this past year to create the Livvy Fund. The Livvy fund will serve as a hub for brands to contribute and support the female athletes at LSU and provide them with exclusive industry tips and connections that Livvy has been able to create. “I started the Livvy fund to give female athletes the platform to work and navigate NIL brand deals. NIL does not have title 9 which gives equal opportunity to both male and female athletes, therefore male athletes are taking more advantage of NIL.  I want to help female athletes have a platform and the opportunity to work on brand deals and be paid just as male athletes do.”

We are forever impressed by the drive and passion that Livvy Dunne brings to all areas of her life and could not be happier to continue to have her as one of our collaborators. Livvy was a part of our most recent campaign for our new Vuori BlissBlend™ collection and when asked how she finds her bliss she thoughtfully stated, "Everyone gets overwhelmed, so being able to have something that brings you to that moment of happiness and that moment of peace and bliss, is essential. I always come back to the simple things: connecting with nature and being around the people I love. Perfection isn't real, but finding moments of bliss can be, I just have to look in the right places."
