Recycling Plastic Water Bottles

Over 100 million plastic (PET) bottles are used everyday, and out of that number, studies have shown that over 86% of them end up in landfills and approximately 1,500 get littered in our oceans every SECOND.  A single plastic water bottle can take between 500 and 1,000 years before it starts to breakdown.

We are proud to have developed custom fabrics in our recylce series that maintain their performance properties, but help to take these plastic bottles out of our landfills, beaches and oceans, and put them into the clothing we wear.  There is no science to the math on this, but on average, we can recycle approximately 26 plastic bottles in one of our performance board shorts.  Not only are we ultilising waste material to create new, innovative products, but the process also helps save 50 – 60% of the energy required to make goods out of non recycled polyester.

Please join us in the movement towards a more sustainable future by way of the things that we do and wear.  Here are a few of the items that we make that are made from recycled plastic bottles.
